Kuzguncuk

Administrative status: Official neighborhood in Üsküdar district

Kuzguncuk is an official Bosphorus-side neighborhood. Üsküdar Municipality’s tourism guide documents its religious buildings and multicultural heritage, including Kuzguncuk synagogues. For historic or renovated properties, protected-building status and restoration permits require separate verification.

Çengelköy

Administrative status: Official waterfront neighborhood in Üsküdar district

Çengelköy is an official Bosphorus waterfront neighborhood. Documented connections include the Çengelköy–İstinye ferry and the municipal ring service to Kuleli and Kandilli. Timetables may change, so website copy should mention the available route without publishing fixed departure times.

Beylerbeyi

Administrative status: Official waterfront neighborhood in Üsküdar district

Beylerbeyi is an official Bosphorus waterfront neighborhood, and Beylerbeyi Palace is one of Üsküdar’s principal officially presented landmarks. The municipal neighborhood map shows its boundaries with Kuzguncuk, Çengelköy, Burhaniye and Küplüce. Shore distance and route gradient should be checked from the exact address.

Kandilli

Administrative status: Official waterfront neighborhood in Üsküdar district

Kandilli is an official neighborhood on the Asian Bosphorus shore. Üsküdar Municipality has announced the Çengelköy–Kuleli–Kandilli ring service. The metro network has no station named Kandilli, so day-to-day access relies more heavily on roads and local transport services.

Acıbadem, Üsküdar

Administrative status: Official Üsküdar neighborhood; a separate official Acıbadem neighborhood also exists in Kadıköy

Acıbadem should always be written with its district name. Both Üsküdar and Kadıköy list an official neighborhood with this name. M4 Acıbadem station serves the broader area, but every property page must identify the formal district and the actual distance to a station entrance.

Altunizade

Administrative status: Official neighborhood in Üsküdar district

Altunizade is an official neighborhood and an important interchange on the Asian side. Altunizade station is on M5 and integrates with Metrobus. Property descriptions should identify the station entrance and side of the highway used for any proximity claim.

Salacak

Administrative status: Official waterfront neighborhood in Üsküdar district

Salacak is an official Üsküdar waterfront neighborhood shown on the municipality’s neighborhood map beside the central coastal areas. The Maiden’s Tower is a principal Üsküdar landmark located off the Salacak shore. Any claim of a direct view should be confirmed with current photographs and the unit’s actual position.

Küçük Çamlıca

Administrative status: Official neighborhood in Üsküdar district

Küçük Çamlıca is an official inland neighborhood in a higher part of Üsküdar. The municipal map shows Küçük Çamlıca, Kısıklı and Libadiye streets within the area. It should not be conflated with Büyük Çamlıca or the Kısıklı and Ferah neighborhoods; the formal property address is decisive.

What should be checked for a specific property?

A neighborhood name alone is not enough to assess a property. The formal title address, actual walking distance to a station entrance, street access and gradient, the building’s legal and technical status and any applicable restrictions must be checked for the specific property. District-level studies do not replace a building-level technical assessment.

Sources and research method

This page is based on official municipal and public-transport sources. Routes and service patterns can change and should be checked again before a purchase decision.
