Official names, neighborhoods and transport
Eyüpsultan covers a very large territory, from the historic urban neighborhoods around the Golden Horn to Göktürk, Kemerburgaz and northern settlements. Its southern neighborhoods are served by M7 and T5, while the airport metro corridor serves Göktürk and Kemerburgaz. These areas should not be presented as one uniform property market.

Eyüp centre / Merkez
Administrative status: Merkez is an official neighborhood; Eyüp centre is the broader historic locality
The historic Eyüp centre is a broader locality around official neighborhoods including Merkez and Nişancı. The T5 tram serves stations along the Golden Horn. Property pages should identify the formal neighborhood rather than using “Eyüp” alone.

Alibeyköy
Administrative status: Official neighborhood in Eyüpsultan district
Alibeyköy is an official neighborhood and a major transfer point. M7 and the T5 tram meet in the wider Alibeyköy area. The station complex and neighborhood cover different footprints, so access must be checked from the exact address.

Göktürk Merkez

Göktürk Merkez is an official neighborhood in northern Eyüpsultan. The current airport metro network includes Göktürk station. The built-up neighborhood extends beyond the station, and road access remains relevant for many addresses.

Kemerburgaz

Kemerburgaz is a commonly used locality name. Formal addresses may fall in official neighborhoods including Mithatpaşa and Mimar Sinan. The airport metro corridor includes Kemerburgaz station, but the property’s formal neighborhood and distance must be stated separately.

5. Levent
Administrative status: Official neighborhood in Eyüpsultan district
5. Levent is an official neighborhood formed from part of the former Güzeltepe area. It should not be confused with Levent in Beşiktaş. The current rail map has no station named 5. Levent, so access should be described by the actual nearby route.

Akşemsettin and Çırçır
Administrative status: Separate official neighborhoods in Eyüpsultan district
Akşemsettin and Çırçır are separate official neighborhoods. M7 serves the Veysel Karani–Akşemsettin and Çırçır stations. A property description should specify the official neighborhood and the station entrance used for any distance claim.

What should be checked for a specific property?
A neighborhood name alone is not enough to assess a property. The formal title address, actual distance to the correct station entrance, walking route, road access, the building’s legal and technical status and any applicable restrictions must be checked for the specific property.
